ME
Hey there. I'd like to take up a few lines here and tell you a little about myself. I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Missassauga, Ontario when I was 2. It was in Ontario that I met my brother Mark and spent 7 years growing up. When I was 9, my family moved to Newfoundland - my parents home. Newfoundland is now what I call home as well. I live in the St.John's (capital) with my immediate family, Bailey (my puppy) and my Nanny Porter :)

I am currently completing my last year of my Business Commerce Degree at Memorial University. My focus is in Marketing and Finance with a minor and French and a great interest in learning some more spanish! Me hablo espanol un poco ;) Last year, while in Calgary on my workterm, I also took a Sign Language course. Currently, I am trying to master counting to 10 in Dutch!

My FAMILY
PARENTS
My parents are Keith Wellon and Glenda (Porter) Wellon. Dad works with Newfoundland Power and Mom works in the Dialysis Unit at a local hospital. I love my parents more then words could say. They have both supported me in everything I've ever done and can also offer such insightful advice. If I'm a good person today, it's because of the values they've instilled in me.

MARK
My brother is 20 and loves playing basketball. He can shoot a 3 better then anyone I've ever seen in the province. He has recently joined the Reserves and wants to become a fighter pilot. He has also just been accepted into Memorial University's Business Faculty!

DARRELL
Darrell Bishop is my boyfriend of two years and my best friend. He is from St. Mary's- an outport community in Newfoundland. I love it there! The two of us were set up last year by a mutual friend, and I've been grateful ever since. Darrell is wondeful and a one paragraph description just would not do him justice!

INTERESTS
Right now when I'm not huddled over my text books, I love to exercise and spend time catching up with my friends. I coach girls soccer in the summer and volunteer with various other organizations. I am a member of the Red Cross Disaster's response team and Emergency Response Team.

I love spending time with children and I have quite a few families that I babysit for! It's a fact that half of my friends are under the age of 12! :)

I've taken piano lessons for 16 years, and whenever I feel like relaxing from studying, I enjoy playing a few pieces. I don't get to do this as much as I'd like, nor read as much as I'd like. Right now on my workterm I'm enjoying doing just that. I'm currently hooked on Harry Potter and his adventures!
